So the year is almost over ! I can’t get it through my head that we literally have 3 months left of 2019. What a year it has been! Lucky me, my birthday is slap bang in the middle of summer so the weather is always nice.
I did plan a huge trip to either Miami or Cancun. Unfortunately due to a turn of events I decided to take a solo trip. I wanted to detoxify and get myself together. A lot has gone on this year and I honestly cant wait for it to be over. As much as I wanted to take part in the whole “HOT GIRL SUMMER” extravaganza I wasn’t in the right state of mind to partake in such events.
I booked 6 nights alone in a Double Deluxe Suite with an Eiffel Tower View at the First Hotel in Paris. With the Eiffel Tower just a 15 minute walk away, plenty of restaurants and tourist spots close by I thought I hit the jackpot. I didn’t plan to do much as this trip was really a getaway but I did want to treat myself to a day in Disneyland.
I was hesitant at first because I thought I’d look like a loner among the large families and cute couples. However I wasn’t the only one at Disney on my own…..I think…to be honest I was too busy enjoying myself to even notice anyone else.
There are 2 different parks at Disney so I wanted to spend the whole day there so I could make the most of my trip and I don’t regret it one bit! I decided to dedicate myself to all the “adult rides” since i’m such a thrill seeker and swore I wouldn’t leave the park until I got a picture with Minnie. With my bucket list ticked off I was more than satisfied with my trip to Disney.
They even had a singles ride queue for those who were on their own or didn’t mind sitting next to strangers which cut waiting times by 80%, lucky me!
In all honesty you need at least 2 full days there to experience everything because there’s so much to do and see, from the rides, parades, live shows and more. I got there at about 10.30 and didn’t leave until 6 and I was more than satisfied with my day.
